Wyn Snow has been creating websites since 1995 — and has taught both friends and Job Corps students how to make websites. She began DragonScale Design with a colleague in 1999, and started Websites 4 Small Business in 2004.
Wyn’s expertise spans the gamut from page design and SEO optimization to marketing and database programming. She regularly uses interactive features on sites — such as surveys, tell-a-friend, and secure handling of credit card information.
Wyn’s working philosophy can be summed up by the carpenter’s adage: “Measure twice, cut once!” Planning begins with a clear understanding of the client’s goals for growing the business, both short-term and long.
We work with and recommend the following designers:
Graphic designer Martha Myers specializes in identity design. She has 30 years of design experience and designs websites as well as corporate identity and marketing collaterals for a wide range of clients. I've worked with Martha since 2004.
Graphic designer Alison Linsky Stannard also does beautiful work, and we hope her website will be updated soon! I've worked with Alison since 2000.
Graphic designer and photographer Tammy Raabe Rao designs for print, identity (logos) and the Web. I met Tammy in 2009 and immediately admired her imaginative eye for design.
In Boston and Metrowest: Peter Golden is a marketing communications expert who specializes in a variety of technological fields. I have worked with him since 1999. He is one of the most eloquent people I know.
In Worcester and Corridor 9: Allison Chisolm of Choice Words/Chisolm & Co. also specializes in marketing communications. She recently celebrated her 15th anniversary in business. I have seen her work: she excels in capturing the reader’s attention and delivering solid results.
Online Marketing: Nancy Wolff Leary, founder and president of Online Amplify, offers clients expertise gained by over 25 years of related experience in both corporate settings and startup roles. She engages in social media marketing for clients at all phases of business development, from startups to established businesses. Building bridges through social media sites, blogs, email newsletters and online communities, raises your brand visibility and expands your online presence across the Web.
Carlton Soohoo took this photo of me (thanks, Carlton!) He specializes in creating virtual tours and environmental portraits. I have known Carlton since 2004.
Ellen Callaway specializes in food photography, and her photos are to drool for. She was also the official photographer for the Women in Business Connection (a networking group no longer in operation). I have known Ellen since 2005.
Other colleagues and subcontractors include programmers and search-engine-marketing specialists. Through networking since 2004, Wyn knows a variety of experts in a wide range of fields.
