On the Web, links rule! Are you connected with one or more social media sites and activities?
Do you have a business presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and/or other social media sites? Do you update it regularly? Does your website have links to your social media pages? Do your social media pages link to your website?
Examples: A restaurant may want to post daily specials on a Faceboook page. A consulting business may want to answer LinkedIn questions once or twice a week. A company with visual results could make a video and post it on YouTube.
Both blogs and e-newsletters are great ways of staying in touch with existing customers. They can also attract new visitors to your website. Both blogs and e-newsletters should be linked with your website in both directions.
Does your website make it easy to sign up for your e-newsletter? Does it have a “tell a friend” page?
